Cabin 127. No calls, we text like men on our disney cruise phones.
If you send Arthur a message it will be read out loud in one of a selection of friendly automated voices!

If it's weird/stupid drama, don't even worry about it, I've seen the full human range of relationship catastrophes, try me

We are not together he chose to do something in my memories that he knew would hurt me very much.
[ He doesn't know what Crichton's been telling people. He doesn't know if Crichton's been telling people. But laying out his side of the story -- however vague on detail -- makes him feel a little less insane in a way that it hadn't even occurred to him he felt until Siffleur's 'what the fuck'. ]

[April would LOVE to know the details but at the same time does NOT remotely want to learn anything emotionally uncomfortable about anyone, what a bind they're in.]
If you need help telling him to take a hike and pound sand etc. let me know, I've been called in for that kind of thing before.
[Granted, some of those times were more for the ex's good than the recently broken-up friend, but details details.]

Thank you but I have been extremely clear with him.
[ They say tone has trouble coming through over text, and it's usually true, but sometimes you can read a message and physically hear the gritted teeth. ]

Otherwise and additionally: my condolences, man.

[ He takes April's offer in the spirit in which it's given, though he's not sure if he'd actually cash it in.
And okay, yeah, for the first and only time in his life, Arthur is glad a conversation is happening over text instead of in person. He shouldn't be having emotions this strong over a tinny little automated voice telling him condolences. But this sucks. This sucks and it was sudden and out of nowhere, and it feels like he's swallowed glass, and Crichton's sadness and despair make Arthur feel like he's the one doing something wrong, which makes him want to bite down even harder on the glass, to confirm how much he bleeds and how Crichton is the one that forced it into his mouth. It makes him want to force that same glass down Crichton's throat, let him know how it feels so that his apologies will mean anything, push it in with his bare hands until Crichton chokes out a good reason that he was sent back to spend nearly a year with Faroe and Arthur wasn't.
So yes, he doesn't text any more back right now, because he's crying over a TTS voice saying 'condolences'. ]
